Our Story

May 2013… seventh grade had just finished and Morgan, looking for some new Summer friends, made a post to her Instagram account that attracted the attention of her former P.E. classmate, Logan Robinson. After “crushing” on each other during the Summer break, their middle school love story began, Logan asked Morgan to be his girlfriend on July 7, 2013.

12 years later on June 19, 2025, Logan tricked Morgan into a walk “with friends” through the Zilker Botanical Gardens in Austin, Texas. They arrived a few minutes late, and found themselves skipping half of the gardens to meet these “friends” at a specific location; Morgan began to think how rude it was that they did not wait! However, Morgan and Logan turned a corner, walked past the hidden photographer, to the platform in front of a beautiful waterfall and that’s when Morgan realized there weren't any friends to meet up with… instead Logan got down on one knee to ask “Will you marry me?” Morgan of course said “YES!” through her happy tears.

Throughout Eighth Grade, 4 years of High School, 4 years of College, graduations, traveling, finding their careers, moving to Austin, Texas, and rescuing their fur baby Barkley, the two have always been by each other’s side. They could not be more thrilled to begin this next chapter together, and are so excited to celebrate their true love in paradise with friends and family on February 24, 2027.

FAQs

Do I have to stay at Excellence Riviera Cancun?

Yes, guests who want to attend the wedding must book a 3-night minimum stay at Excellence Riviera Cancun; there are no day passes available for our wedding.

What is the minimum night stay, and can I stay longer?

You must book a 3-night minimum stay. Yes, you can absolutely stay longer, the room promo code is valid from Sunday, February 21 to Saturday, February 27, 2027. If you are going to stay three nights, we suggest that you stay Monday 2/21 to Thursday 2/25 due to the itinerary that we have planned.

Do I have to book my hotel room through June or can I use the resort website?

You MUST book your room through our wedding website and our dedicated travel agent, June Gioia. Guests who make room reservations outside of this will not be able to attend the ceremony.

Are there room blocks?

No, there are no specific room blocks; the only way to guarantee you room at the resort is to reserve your hotel room with June. The room reservation only requires a $1 deposit so we encourage you to book your room ASAP.

Are payment plans available?

No, there are no payment plans available. The resort will auto charge the full balance to the card on file 30 days prior to arrival. June will also send an email reminder 45 days before your arrival in case you need to update the card on file, etc.

Where can I book my flight?

You can either book your flight on your own or through June however, if you book through June, she is not able to use your flight miles or points. If you book on your own, please send June your flight information no later than January 1, 2027 so that we can track your arrival and coordinate your airport transportation.

Can we bring our children?

Unfortunately, there are no children allowed at the wedding as the venue is adult-only. However, we encourage you to use this trip as a getaway vacation for yourself!

Is there a dress code?

Yes, we are requesting you wear beach casual. No jeans, shorts, or graphic t-shirts. Women, please refrain from wearing white or shades of white. Please click here for dress code inspiration.

Do you have a wedding registry?

No, your presence at our destination wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for; no additional gifts are necessary.

INCLUSIONS:

Room prices are quoted PER PERSON based on the number of guests in each room.

ALL-INCLUSIVE - Hotel accommodations, All-Inclusive Meal Plan, taxes, gratuities, and shared round trip airport transfers from CUN airport.
All meals and drinks including alcoholic beverages.
These rates are an early booking special with a limited number of rooms available rates cannot be guaranteed after the deposit date. Please submit your deposit to secure your rate.

ZIKA VIRUS:

The CDC advisory recommends that women who are pregnant in any trimester or women who are considering getting pregnant consider postponing travel to areas where Zika virus transmission is ongoing. ALL bookings will be subject to the standard cancellation policy. There will be no exceptions to this policy, including for travelers who are or are trying to become pregnant. consider the many benefits of purchasing this travel protection plan at time of booking to avoid cancellation and protect their travel investment. COVID-19:

COVID 19 is a known disease and by booking this trip you are aware that you are doing so at your own risk . You should follow all the protocols that have been put in place by the Airlines, Transfer Companies, Tour Operators and Hotels to insure the safest possible vacation. ALL bookings will be subject to the standard cancellation policy. We highly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance. For more information on Traveling during this time please visit the CDC website.

Travel Insurance:

Per person (Recommended). Trip insurance protects your investment. Travel Protection Plan payment required at time of booking.

Once paid, Travel Protection Plan is non-refundable.

TSA Secure Flight information is mandatory while making the reservation.

Cancellation Policy:

Deposits are nonrefundable.There is a minimum cancellation fee of $150 per person after reservation is under deposit, up until final payment. After final payment the reservation is non refundable.The change fee is $50 per person. The hotel may have additional penalties at the time of cancellation. All cancellations must be received in writing. Travel insurance protects your investment.
